If your family is anything like mine, spring brings beautiful new changes and lots of exciting new adventures! Whether you have a senior graduating high school or college, your little ones turn another year older, little league sports begin, or maybe you're celebrating Mother's Day for the first time, spring is an exciting and beautiful time of the year!
The blooming flowers are proof of the beauty this season holds in our lives. As the flowers begin to pop out, we tend to notice the new personalities that are blooming within our families. We soak in all the time with those we love, and it is just all around beautiful!
Why Spring?
Spring is the perfect time to capture your family’s story—because these moments won’t last forever. The tiny hands you hold today will soon be reaching for independence. The giggles that fill your home now will one day be cherished echoes of the past. Your little ones will never be this small again, and your teens will soon be off on their own adventures.
Life keeps moving faster than we realize, and while we can’t slow it down, we can preserve the love, laughter, and connection that make your family so special in this season of life and in this beautiful season of the year.
I want you to picture your family capturing the exact stage of life you're in with the most beautiful backdrop to freeze these precious moments: vibrant blooms, golden sunsets, and soft, warm breezes. These are moments you’ll hold onto forever through our session together.
How to Book Your Session and What You Can Expect
When you go to book a session with me, I want you to take a deep breath. This whole process will be as seamless and fun as can be. Your family will get to sit back, have fun and create memories while I walk you through each step of the way.
First step is picking out a time and day that works for you! This can easily be done through my website at https://rgphotographybycourtney.pixieset.com/booking/ (linked below). Most people prefer this route so there's minimal back and forth to find a time that works for you! If you prefer personal communication, you can always message me to find a time that works best for you!
Second step is watching out for my client experience guide in your email, which will be sent to you shortly after booking your session! This usually arrives within a week of your booking but sometimes varies based on the timeframe of your session! It will give you all the details you'll need for our session together! You can expect info about me, my booking and delivery process, what to expect during my sessions, tips for children, outfit suggestions, AND a link to my client closet for kids!
While my client closet is not a requirement, this is an excellent way to coordinate your family's outfits with minimal trips to the store! When you book a session, you'll receive a link to browse and pick outfits you would like to use for your session, without ever running to the store! I will then make sure the outfit is clean, steamed and ready to go for your session!
Third step: About two to three weeks before your session, I will reach out to see if you have any ideas for location, if we have not already discussed it yet. If you don't have anywhere specific in mind, I will see if there's anything you would like to incorporate into your session, and I'll make suggestions based on that!
Fourth step: Arrive at pictures! I arrive 10-15 minutes before your session start time to get my gear prepped and have your outfit choice ready to go! This part of the process will be full of fun and genuine moments and memories made. Your children will run and hug you. Your husband will tell you how beautiful you are, and you'll hold your little one's hand soaking in the moment. There are no forced smiles; just genuine moments that make your family special.

Opportunities this Spring
I always offer full sessions year-round. I restructured my sessions in 2025 and now offer 30-minute sessions and 60-minute session packages. This allows you to have more freedom to pick which package best fits your family. We can always chat together to see which one might best fit your family in particular!
With that said, I have several mini session opportunities this spring, including everything from Easter minis, Mommy and Me minis, Cap and Gown minis, and Spring minis! These are great options for families with limited scheduling or are looking for a session with a specific and intentional purpose!
