Meet Katelyn and Baylor!


Instead of going to the dictionary to define love, we need to look the love Katelyn and Baylor have! These two are the perfect combination and duo! Katelyn is a sophomore in collect studying ag, and Baylor is... well the cutest puppers as can be! Katelyn adores Baylor, and it is easy to see why. He is so sweet and loves all the attention he can get. He gets very excited and loves exploring.

The Session


Katelyn has always wanted pictures done with Baylor, but just has not taken the leap to schedule a session. One hesitation she had was she didn't know how Baylor would do getting his picture taken, and she didn't know if she'd be able to get any good images with his "curiosity". I told her not to worry because I would get great pictures one way or another. She responded by saying, "If I can just get one good picture of us, it would be worth it." But that's not how I work. When you book a full session with me, you will receive AT LEAST 50 images, no matter how patient we have to be to get those pictures! Now that Katelyn's gallery has been delivered, I can say there are 90ish images Katelyn received back with super cute and special photos of her and Baylor, and she loves them!


Now onto the session details! Katelyn returns home from college on the weekends; so, we set a date on the weekend and chose a time an hour before sunset, also known as golden hour! The lighting shines through the clouds and trees and makes everything "golden"! While editing can do a lot to a picture, golden hour is just something that can't be FULLY recreated through the editing process! Highly recommend golden hour to clients! You won't be disappointed with the lighting setting the tone for your pictures!


I always encourage clients to choose locations that have meaning to them, and Katelyn did just that. We went out to her grandparents farm, which is absolutely BEAUTIFUL and PERFECT! Locations like this add so much special meaning and the finishing touch to sessions. They transform great images into breathtaking memories!


This session felt like we were just hanging out and playing with Baylor giving him all the loves he deserves! I'm also convinced that he sees me as the "treat lady" and I might be his new best friend (besides Katelyn of course). First we ventured over to the shed with the cornfield in the background. As first Baylor was trying to figure out what was going on, but he sure caught on quickly. Then, we took a short walk over to the cornfield where Katelyn had set up some hay bails, mums, and pumpkins that her parents grew! Side note... if you need pumpkins be sure to check out her parents pumpkins and mums business at Franks Fitness in Williamsville! They have an amazing selection that is going fast! Then we went off to the pasture by their goats and mini donkey, and finished up on the bridge! I truly enjoyed every moment of this session!

Katelyn and Baylor! Thank you so much for booking this session with me. I had an incredible time with you two, and I couldn't stop smiling at all the pictures as I was editing them! You're session was definitely a favorite in my book, and I will look back on it for a long time being thankful for it! You both were amazing, and I hope to see you again in the future for another session!
