Harmening Spring Mini Session | Washington Park Botanical Gardens, Springfield, IL


My spring calendar has been packed with amazing sessions in Central Illinois, and I have loved getting to meet everyone over the past couple months! Last week, I wrapped up my spring mini sessions at Washington Park Botanical Gardens, and this week on the blog, I want to showcase one family that I have had the joy to photograph a few times over the past year!


The Harmening family holds a special place in my heart because they were actually one of the first families I ever to go photograph, and the love they have for each other shines in each photo. Since then, I have gotten to capture their maternity, Fresh 48, and now a spring mini session. One of the greatest joys of photography is getting to see a family come full circle and watch their little ones grow from behind my lens. When you become a client, your family becomes a friend that I cherish, and genuinely enjoy being around.


These two littles absolutely rocked this mini session, and their gallery was packed with so many beautiful images to choose from. Noah has the sweetest heart for his little sister, and she loves being around him. I couldn't help smiling from behind my lens watching them interact together.


We captured the beauty throughout Washington Park in Springfield, IL including their flowery trees, their water fountain, beautiful greenery and so much more, but kept the beauty on them. The sun was starting to set at the end of our golden hour session which was the cherry on top!


While mini sessions are only offered periodically throughout the year, the same beauty and timeless photos can be captured during my full sessions, which allow for outfit changes, location choices, and access to more perks! I have two packages to choose from, including 30-minute and 60-minute sessions. 30-minute sessions are offered throughout the week, while 60-minute sessions can be booked any day of the week*.
