The ideal session...
When I think of the ideal session, I think of a low-key, fun, and relaxed session, but not just by the client. I love sessions where I get to smile and laugh right along with them. Building a relationship with my clients to become friends is what I strive for, because that's what makes this business so valuable. I don't want to show up for an hour, deliver their gallery shortly afterward and then disappear and never talk to them. I want you to know you mean something to me, and I value you.
This session fits that description perfectly. Breana was truly a pleasure to work with. I had a wonderful time getting to know more about her and hanging out. I look forward to seeing all the amazing things she will accomplish in the future which looks very bright for her. While we've only seen each other face-to-face for about an hour, I know she is an incredible young lady that will make her mark on this world, and I'm excited to see it, and blessed to be part of her story for senior year!
Who is Breana...
Breana is a senior getting ready to graduate high school. At her local high school, she participates in cheerleading, and I can tell from her personality, she's great at it. After college she is looking to attend nursing school in Alabama. I was telling them how awesome that was, because so many people like me, wouldn't be able to handle all the situations nurses deal with. Her mom told me she thought Breana would thrive with more "crazy/over the top" situations. Which is great, because we need more of that in this world!
The session...
For Breana's senior session, we ventured out to Washington Park. We was open to trying whatever, and her gallery is full of amazing photos to document this special chapter of her life. This is a time to celebrate her and her hard work for the past 12 years!
Her natural beauty shined through every picture. We made sure to tailor her session to her, so we got pictures by colorful flowers, the pillar archway, and the water fountain. But, like I said we tailor this session to her. She comes from a small town so we made sure we took some walking through the tall grass, and those were some of my favorites because it seemed like her personality really came out in those!
While I shoot multiple sessions are Washington Park, each session always results in images that have a unique story, and that's what I love about Breana's.

Breana, thank you so much for booking your senior session with me and allowing me to be part of your story your senior year. You truly were a blessing to work with. I know you laughed at the end when I told you to say "I'm beautiful" but I wanted you to get used to saying that confidently, because you most definitely are. I hope you see that in each picture of your gallery. Set your goals high, and do not hesitate to go after them, because you are capable and strong. I look forward to seeing all the things you will accomplish in your future, and I hope to see you again soon!
